Angela Kearns
Angela came to Lake Tahoe from Alaska where she grew up in the forest and on the shores of Southeast Alaska. She had opportunities to work in Denali National Park and Wrangell St-Elias National Park as a naturalist and educator during and after college at UAA. When she wasn’t being schooled or working her summers away in the Parks of Alaska, she was traveling, taking photos, sculpting, snowboarding, ice climbing and escaping to warmer climates to rock climb.
Growing up in a small town run mostly on volunteers shaped the community that Angela desires; she found that interactive community at Lake Tahoe and at Tahoe Flow Arts!
Angela trained in aerial fabrics at Tahoe Flow Arts for 8 years before starting her teaching journey in aerial fabrics as well as silk veil fan dance. Angela gained her first Aerial teaching certificate through Align Aerial Academy and is working with Paper Doll Militia to further her aerial fabric teaching skills.
After another few years, Angela took on the role of Marketing & Community Outreach Director and absolutely enjoys bringing Tahoe Flow to our communities’ events and people.
You will also find her performing with Moonlight Movement- Lake Tahoe’s premier aerial & dance performance company.
Angela’s main apparatus are Aerial Silks and Hammock though she explores Corde Liste- Aerial Rope. All forms of Flow Art are special but Aerial Fabric holds a special place in her heart. She loves teaching and watching students learn and grow stronger in their body and mind. Teaching Aerial Fabrics has not only been about teaching mechanics, but giving others an opportunity to see that learning proper alignment and gaining understanding of our bodies can open many doors to overcoming challenges and building resilience-mind and body.

Andrea Lackie
Andrea’s interest in creative movement started young. She started dancing at 5 years old and became a competitive dancer at 13, dedicating time to tap, jazz, ballet, lyric, and modern. After college, while trying to balance a full time office job with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, she developed a deep yoga practice and was fortunate to practice with a wonderful teacher at Jivamukti. After many years in NYC, Andrea felt the need for a fresh way of living and has since fallen in love with the Truckee Tahoe area. Seeing Tahoe Flow aerialists perform inspired her to take classes and bring creative movement back into her life!
She completed her Aerial Fabric Teacher Training through ALIGN Aerial Academy and loves to continuously educate herself. Her practices include Silks, Rope (Corde Lisse), and Hammock (Sling), and she enjoys teaching all levels of classes, including Performance Technique. She is also a performer with the performance company Moonlight Movement.
When not in the studio you can find Andrea planning her next thru-hike (she has walked the entire Long Trail, hundreds of miles on the PCT, and soloed the John Muir Trail), or designing spaces at the Interior Design firm she owns. She is excited to share aerial arts with others and looks forward to working with you in class!

Sue Morganti
Sue is a five time mom and former 12 time marathon runner and distance swimmer. She started practicing yoga 15 years ago at a hot yoga studio in Willits, CA. After my 5th child was born, I started practicing Buti Yoga, quietly, in her bedroom before sunup so that she could fit some movement in before the babe woke up and everyone else’s needs took center stage. After Buti training in 2017, she wanted to deepen her practice so I completed my 200 hr RYT in 2018.
“I don’t have your “typical” yoga body type, but that hasn’t stopped me from loving my yoga practice, and consequently learning to love my body in all its various phases and forms.Yoga, and specifically, buti yoga, has transformed my life. It allowed me to create healthy boundaries for myself, starting with my time… that single hour in the early morning, and my space… that 3’x6’ boundary defined by my mat. I truly believe that all change happens from within and I’m excited to share this practice with others.”

Sarah Dittmore
With over a decade of yoga teaching experience, Sarah has taught yoga in San Francisco, New York City, and Edinburgh, Scotland and is excited to bring her practice to Tahoe! Her original 200-hour RYT program was in an Iyengar-influenced program in San Francisco, CA and, as such, her classes place a strong priority on safe and supportive alignment. Sarah completed her 500-hour RYT in New York City and Malaysia with a Hathavidya program, where she learned powerful breathwork and meditation techniques she loves to incorporate into her flow sequences. In addition to these trainings, Sarah is a certified Children’s Yoga Instructor with YogaKids, has completed over 200 hours of additional continuing education courses, and has been studying folk magic and mediumship for the past 5 years. Sarah fuses her traditional RYT-500 yoga training with her knowledge of folk magic for a unique, magical, and empowering flow. Sarah’s classes feature creative, fluid movements with integrated breathwork and meditation. Prop support and adaptations are offered to ensure this practice is available to all bodies and all levels.
